Elena Stroganova is a curator, composer and sound artist whose work represents a unique combination of instrumental parts and electronics.
EDUCATION
Her education is in the field of arts. She has a master's degree in audio-visual metaphors for cinema and has completed the Composer program at the Moscow Film School.
PROJECTS
Since 2018, she has been actively involved in various advertising, television, film, and theatre projects, collaborating with some of the biggest productions and platforms, including Netflix.
Some of her works, including the soundtrack for the film "Captain Volkogonov Ran", received recognition at the Venice Film Festival. in 2022 she became the composer for the film "A Healthy Person", which was presented at various international film festivals.
CINEMATIC RESEARCH & INTERESTS
In addition to her musical interests, Elena is also involved in cinematic research.
She studies films from feminist, anthropological, and artistic viewpoints. She has written numerous film reviews, lectures, and guides, and is currently working on a gender study about the representation of women in film history.
Currently, Elena is working on various international theatrical and contemporary art projects. She composes music for films, advertisements, and podcasts. Additionally, she is preparing to release a solo album that exploresthe phenomenon of memory through sonic memories.
